Midlands indie gym chain secures £320k for tenth site in Solihull
Fast-growing independent gym chain Fitness Worx has secured a £320,000 loan from the Midlands Engine Investment Fund II, through fund manager Frontier Development Capital, to fund its tenth site, in Solihull.
Work is under way to convert a 12,900 sq ft former office building on Drayton Road, previously occupied by Britvic. The new site will operate 24 hours a day, featuring a cardio zone, strength and weights areas and a sauna across four floors, alongside personal training and small group classes.
