The Works board backed ahead of shareholder showdown
Shareholders of The Works have been advised by independent voting advisers ISS and Glass Lewis to reject the appointment of Graeme Coulthard to the retailer's board.
It comes as the Birmingham retailer continues its dispute with investment firm Kelso over the proposed appointment of an additional director to its current five-strong board, a row that has been heading for a shareholder showdown since Kelso formally set out its case last month.
