Headlam’s chairman out as administration begins amid mounting losses

Headlam Group has confirmed the appointment of administrators, as the Birmingham-headquartered floor coverings distributor looks to achieve a "comprehensive restructuring."

The confirmation follows Headlam's notice of intention to appoint administrators last week, and comes hours after the company completed the sale and leaseback of its Bristol distribution centre for £3.15m as part of the same restructuring effort.
