Birmingham Airport reports another record month despite baggage disruption
Birmingham Airport recorded its busiest August on record after more than 1.57 million passengers passed through the terminal last month, despite significant disruption to baggage operations.
A total of 1,575,318 passengers travelled through Birmingham Airport (BHX) in August, up 3.7% on the same month last year.
Dublin was the airport’s busiest route during the month, followed by Palma and Alicante. Dubai returned to the top five, ahead of Malaga, as holidaymakers made the most of the final weeks of the summer break.
