Stoke’s Portmeirion rebrands to Spode Group amid widening losses

Portmeirion Group has confirmed it will proceed with its name change to Spode Group PLC, expected to take effect in November, as the Stoke-on-Trent homewares group reported widening losses in its interim results for the six months to 30 June.

The company's trading identity mnemonic will change to "SPDE," though the ISIN and SEDOL of its ordinary shares remain unchanged, and existing share certificates will stay valid.
