First residents set to move into £20m Shropshire retirement village

The first residents are set to move into a new £20m retirement community in Newport, Shropshire, next month, after construction firm McPhillips handed over the first phase.

Sundew Court, developed for later living specialist Untold Living, includes around 40 apartments, a restaurant and bar, a library, a hairdressing salon and communal areas.

Work started in autumn 2024. A second block of apartments and the final bungalows, 16 in total, are due to be completed in spring 2027.
