eg celebrates contract extension
FINANCIAL software company eg solutions has announced a £265,000 contract extension with the customer services operation of one of the largest bancassurance groups in the Nordic region.
eg solutions (EGS), based in Dunston, Staffordshire, said the contract was for the use of its eg operational intelligence product.
The extension follows the successful introduction of an initial project in the claims area of the same group during the second half of 2009.
Under the contract extension, which has taken immediate effect, eg’s software and services will be used by the client to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
The contract extension, which represents the company’s third win in the Nordic and Benelux area, is worth £265,000 in the current financial year and a further £300,000 during the full five-year contract term.
Elizabeth Gooch, eg solutions chief executive, said the win demonstrated that major financial institutions were recognising that eg’s award-winning software and support services were capable of delivering tangible business benefits and an improved customer experience.
“By demonstrating the attractiveness of our proposition to existing and new customers, we are continuing to implement our strategy of expansion into selected international markets,” she said.
