Harrison Beale and Owen hunts down new consultant

WARWICKSHIRE accountants and financial advisers Harrison Beale and Owen has strengthened its team with the appointment of a new adviser on wills, trusts and probate estate management.

Donald Hunter joins the Leamington-based firm as a consultant trust and estate practitioner having previously spent 30 years as a partner with a local law firm.

Mr Hunter is also a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners.

He said: “I am delighted to have been invited to join the excellent team at HB&O. I am looking forward to taking on my new role and providing advice and guidance to clients.

“The team here have been fantastic, they have really helped me to settle in and have looked after me tremendously well.”

The appointment will make HB&O, which also has an office in Coventry, one of the first accountancy practices in the Midlands to offer a fully integrated financial service dealing with accounts tax, pensions, risk protection insurance, wills and estate administration.

Rob Kendall, managing director at HB&O, said: “We are delighted that Donald has agreed to join us. His wealth of experience is a priceless asset.

“This appointment adds a completely new dimension to HB&O and offers our clients something very different from most accountancy practitioners.”

He said that being able to offer a fully integrated wills, trusts and probate estate administration advice service not only stood the firm apart from its competitors, but also marked a significant point in the company’s continuing development.
