Free advice event and exhibition for businesses

A FREE advice day for businesses in Warwickshire and the surrounding area takes place next month.
The open day is being run by HM Revenue and Customs and aims to bring together expertise to provide practical and free advice.
Information on the business payment support service, which allows businesses to delay tax payments during demanding times, will be available.
There will also be general seminars explaining the basics of VAT, what to do if you are self employed and VAT for the agricultural and construction industries.
Partner organisations, including the Environment Agency and Age Positive, will be attending to discuss green issues, age discrimination and health and safety among other topics.
Business liaison team manager Roger Lovell said: “It’s inevitable that some people will find tax issues daunting, or be worried about meeting their liabilities.
“This event allows us to bring our advice directly into the heart of Warwickshire and the surrounding area and offer practical assistance where it is needed.
“Our partner organisations will also be on hand to explain their services and how they can help small and medium sized enterprises.”
Other exhibitors signed up to attend include Acas, Companies House, Country Land & Business Association Ltd, the Health and Safety Executive and National Farmers’ Union.
Seminar places should be booked but reservations are not required to visit the exhibition.
The event runs from 9am to 4.15pm on 10 June at The Royal Agricultural Society of England, in Stoneleigh Park, near Coventry.
