PwC named best large firm

THE Birmingham office of advisory firm PricewaterhouseCoopers has scooped a major title at the annual awards of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales’ (ICAEW) West Midlands.
The firm walked off with the title Large Accountancy Firm of the Year at the awards ceremony.
The awards recognise the achievements of the best accountancy firms in the region and more than 3,000 members of the ICAEW in the West Midlands voted for this year’s winners.
Mark Smith, regional chairman at PwC, said: “This is an excellent achievement for the firm and demonstrates what a great team we have in the Midlands.
“We always strive to offer the best service to our clients and as a result we have won this prestigious award. We are extremely proud that our high standards have been recognised.”
One of the firm’s associates, Laura Dale, was also shortlisted for the Trainee Chartered Accountant of the Year award.
