CFS looking to bring in 60 people

SUTTON Coldfield’s Contract Fire Security (CFS) is announcing 60 new job vacancies following a run of new contract wins this year.
The firm, owned and managed by brothers, Steven and Gary Quirke, secured around £3.2m of fire and security contracts within the last three months.
Joint managing director, Steven Quirke said; “We have had a tremendous start to the year picking up significant business from leading high street groups and major UK organisations. This has added nearly 4,000 additional site visits to our schedule. As a result, we are looking for fire and security, fire extinguisher and installation engineers across the country.”
CFS marked its 25th anniversary last year by hitting its target of £25m turnover and is on track to increase this to £28m this year.
Joint managing director Gary Quirke suggests the growth of the business is down to having a dedicated team that offers services to meet customer requirements.
“We have developed by listening and tailoring services to match what customers want. No one enjoys the disruption of service visits, so we have trained our engineers to oversee all aspects of fire and safety in one visit, saving time and costs,” he said.
There have also been a number of acquisitions that have established CFS in strategic locations around the country, including Scotland, London, and the southern counties.
