THEBUSINESSDESK.COM was highly praised by judges at the Newspaper Awards last night.
The judges described TheBusinessDesk.com as an “innovative, impressive, effective niche offering”.
TheBusinessDesk.com was competing with national and international media websites in the Digital News Service of the Year category with the prize won by The Sunday Times.
The website was the only dedicated business news service shortlisted and one of just five online-only products to be featured in the awards.
The black-tie ceremony, which saw awards presented in 19 categories, was held at the London Hilton hotel.
