Deloitte makes digital push

BUSINESS adviser Deloitte is mounting a major push into the digital sector with the launch of Deloitte Digital.

It has created an 800-strong global practice to “define and deliver” digital services and solutions for clients.

Operating across business to business, business to consumer and business to employer channels, Deloitte Digital will deliver strategy, mobile, social, web, and digital content management solutions to help clients grow thier businesses.

Sam Roddick, European lead for Deloitte Digital said: “Winners and losers will be determined in the digital revolution. Every one of our clients is impacted regardless of industry and region.

“We have developed Deloitte Digital in response to increasing demand from our clients across the world for advanced digital advice, particularly in the mobile sector.”

In this country Deloitte is already providing strategy, mobile, e-commerce, social, web and content management services to large clients like John Lewis and Transport for London.

Deloitte Digital in the UK will employ more than 100 people, and be led by managing partner Richard Buck.
