Ireland cruise to the Euros with Cello

EXECUTIVE charter airline Cello Aviation has kicked off its Euro 2012 campaign by taking the Irish squad to a pre-tournament training camp in Italy.
In June the Birmingham-based airline will be using its luxury appointed BAE 146 to take the team to the tournament in Poland and the Ukraine.
Cello has a portfolio of clients from the corporate world, sport, music and entertainment and also flies government delegations and heads of state.
Commercial manager Vince Essex said: “The BAE 146 can operate into and out of airports that are restricted to aircraft with a similar seating capacity.
“This means that we can fly our clients to where they need to go without a need for inconvenient, tiring and costly transfers from bigger airports.”
The airline’s client list includes nine teams in the English Premier League and two top French clubs as well as international teams.
Euro 2012 starts on Friday June 8 and if the Republic of Ireland isn’t to face a swift journey home it will need to overcome Croatia, Italy and Spain – the world champions and tournament favourites.
