Jaguar Land Rover global sales rise 35% in May

GLOBAL sales of Jaguar Land Rover rose by 35% last month, latest figures from parent company Tata Motors have shown.
In May, the company sold 30,094 vehicles, driven by the continuing popularity of the Range Rover Evoque.
Jaguar sales also rose, up by 3% compared with the same month last year, at 4,342 cars.
However, it was big cat’s 4×4 stablemate which once again grabbed all the glory.
The Tata sales figures show Land Rover sales volumes were up by 42% on last year at 25,752 vehicles.
Cumulative sales of Jaguar Land Rover for the fiscal year to date stand at 55,237, up by 32%. Cumulative sales of Jaguar stand at 7,945, up by 9%, while cumulative sales of Land Rover are 47,292, up by 37%.
