Attendees are being encouraged to come attired suitably in Middle Eastern dress can expect to be entertained with fire eaters, belly dancers and live music from the Decades Band.
Money raised from the ball will be split between the BPA’s adopted charities and the Skin Cancer Research Fund (SCaRF), the only UK charity looking into metastatic melanomas.
Radio presenters, and friends of Dave, Ed James from Heart Breakfast and Russ Morris from Free Radio Birmingham, will be compering the event.
Chairman of the BPA Steve Price said: “The event is coming together well and the interest among the industry has been great. We’re at double our usual attendance for this event which goes a long way to showing the depth of feeling toward Dave here in Birmingham.”
