Goldsmiths picks Bullring for glittering new concept store

BIRMINGHAM’S Bullring Shopping Centre has been selected by jewellery chain Goldsmiths as the venue for a new retail concept.

The retailer is launching Boutique., which it describes as “an innovative new concept store for fashion and jewellery”. The Bullring outlet will be its first in the Midlands.

The store, which is next to Goldsmiths on the centre’s Upper West Mall, will sell brands such as Wildfox, Michael Kors and Marc by Marc Jacobs, while it also has a ring bar.

Tim Walley, General Manager at Bullring, said: “Boutique. Goldsmiths brings a new jewellery experience for the Bullring shopper. As a centre we continually strive to improve our retail offering and have already welcomed a range of new and diverse retailers to the mix this year.”

Richard Gerrard, Commercial Director for Goldsmiths, added: “Boutique. is a challenge to the existing status quo in jewellery retailing. The concept is unique and progressive and appeals directly to the increasingly trend-savvy shopper. Boutique is one of Goldsmith’s most exciting brand launches in our 230 year history and we’re delighted to be bringing the concept to Bullring.”
