Packaging firm has expansion all wrapped up with new retail launch
A WARWICKSHIRE-based packaging business is expanding with the opening of a new retail division.
Involvement Packaging, which is behind INVOPAK, the UK’s largest supplier of rigid packaging containers, has launched OiPPS. All orders placed will be shipped from its warehouse in Warwickshire.
OiPPS is an online packaging portal where people can buy a range of rigid containers. It plans to have more than 500 product lines available to suit virtually every packaging need.
Paul Littlehales, commercial director of the business, said: “OiPPS is a completely new venture for us as INVOPAK is purely a B2B entity. We already have the capacity and capability needed to service the whole of the UK and Ireland, so the retail venture is a natural progression for our business.”
Product ranges include plastic, metal and glass containers in a variety of shapes of sizes – from small tins to large buckets.
Mr Littlehales said the firm was expecting considerable business because OiPPS would utilise the same resources as INVOPAK. He said the firm was guaranteeing that all products offered would always be in stock to ensure prompt dispatch.
