International Trade: Export success behind Pulsar’s growth

MEASUREMENT equipment firm Pulsar Process Management is celebrating 15 years in business and puts its success down to export growth.

The Malvern firm has developed from a start-up to a multi-million pound  global business with a 15,000 square foot purpose-equipped factory on the town’s Enigma Business Park and a similar sized circuit board assembly plant based in Essex.

Pulsar’s expertise is in designing and manufacturing level and flow measurement equipment supplied to food and process companies, with key business in the water and wastewater industries all over the world.

Pulsar is an export success story with around 60% of its turnover now coming from overseas.  It has sales and service operations the US and Malaysia.

The firm has received the Queen’s Award for Export Achievement and has been Hereford and Worcester Export Business of the Year.
