Hat trick of senior appointments at Grant Thornton

THE Birmingham office of accountancy firm Grant Thornton has made three senior appointments across key areas of the business.

Associate director Becky Eagle joins the firm’s audit practice following 15 years at KPMG, where she worked with a wide range of large private and listed companies. Her work at Grant Thornton will capitalise on her knowledge and experience to help clients grow their businesses.

Paul Tallon joins Grant Thornton’s advisory team also as an associate director. He previously spent seven years at BDO in Birmingham, working in both corporate finance and business restructuring. He works with businesses typically facing some degree of distress, advising them and their key stakeholders on how to stabilise, restructure and safeguard their futures.

Also joining Grant Thornton from KPMG, Donald Sadler is a senior audit manager in business risk services. He will provide internal audit, risk management and governance services to Grant Thornton’s private and public sector clients as well as helping the team to develop its strategy for growth.

Dave Munton, regional managing partner, said: “We are continuing to see growth opportunities across all areas of our business as evidenced by our on-going investment in some of the city’s top talent.”
