China export opportunities to be explored at workshops

AN organisation set up to establish business links between England and China is to put on a series of workshops to inform small and micro-businesses in the Midlands about the opportunities that exist in the emerging market.

The England China Business Forum’s programme of workshops will feature a number of businesses telling their story of how they are doing business in China – talking honestly about the challenges, pitfalls and pressures but also the opportunities.

The first of these takes place at the offices of law firm DWF at No.1 Colmore Square, Birmingham tomorrow at 5.30pm.

It features Alec Anderson of Koolmill and Mike Loftus of News from the Future.

Koolmill is a small family owned company which has developed an award winning global technology and has established a joint venture in China.

Anderson is recognised as a foreign markets expert and been recruited to the Global Expert Recruitment Program.

News from the Future has been working for the last two years with Chinese partners, bringing Chinese representatives to the UK to gain an insight into current best practice here in both the public and private sectors.
