Templine announces A&A acquisition

SPECIALIST logistics recruitment company Templine Employment Agency has completed the acquisition of rival firm A&A Recruitment for an undisclosed sum.
This is the second acquisition in the last eight months for Birmingham-based Templine, which is backed by private equity house Key Capital Partners (KCP).
Ashby-de-la-Zouch-based A&A is a well-established agency with 27 years’ experience and a significant profile in the area’s industrial and commercial markets.
In September Templine acquired two branches of the recruitment firm 247 Staff .
Following the A&A acquisition, Templine now operates 27 branches across the UK providing temporary labour to customers in the distribution, warehousing, industrial and driving sectors.
It provides on-site recruitment services to a number of major logistics and distribution companies and manages more than 2,300 temporary employees in the workplace each week.
Turnover at the company has doubled since the MBO of the business in 2007, which was supported by Key Capital Partners.
Tony Bucciero, managing director at Templine said: “A&A Recruitment shares the same client service culture as Templine, which makes the businesses a great fit.”
Owen Trotter, managing partner at KCP and board director at Templine, said: “Despite a difficult market the team at Templine have delivered exceptional growth rates both organically and through acquisition.
“We are keen to continue to back the team and are actively on the look-out for further acquisition opportunities.”
