Aaron & Partners sees fee income rise by a fifth

LAW firm Aaron & Partners has announced a sharp rise in its annual fees – by more than £1m in the past 12 months.

Fees at the Shrewsbury and Cheshire-based firm have increased by 19.6pc, with a total fee income of just under £7m.

Aaron and Partners chief executive officer Andy Duxbury said: “We have a great financial base, we’re profitable and we continue to invest from a position of strength.

“Whilst the market is still volatile and many of our competitors are finding life tough, we are thriving and have a very clear focus of what we are trying to achieve.”

The results are the first announced since the law firm acquired a niche practice in Shropshire.

Aaron & Partners has pledged investment and the creation of new jobs in Shrewsbury following the takeover of Bennett’s Legal.

The move is the latest step in planned expansion by the firm, which gained alternative business structure (ABS) status in January.

Duxbury added: “We are extremely optimistic about the future as we continue to grow. This programme of investment includes people as we recruit more highly specialised solicitors, invest in new infrastructure, particularly IT and purchase new office facilities.”
