Security firm Integrity set to create 60 new jobs as part of expansion

A SOLIHULL security firm is creating up to 60 jobs after achieving 100% year-on-year growth.

Integrity Security Group has secured a string of new contracts with high-profile manufacturing firms, distribution businesses and regeneration projects across the UK.

The company supplies tailored security and manned guard services with contracts being secured to serve a number of city centre office developments.

To service the contracts the business has expanded to more than 120 staff but now needs to take on additional offices to cope with demand.

Tony Turner, managing director, said: “It’s been a great year for the business and one that we believe could be the platform to launch us to our next stage of development.

“We’ve added over £1m to turnover this year and are currently in the closing stages for other significant contracts.”

Integrity was established in 2008 after Turner and fellow director Will Adams spotted a niche in the marketplace.

In the last year it has invested £100,000 on additional vehicles, a new operations centre, brand new website and increasing its head office to 3,000 sq ft. Staff have also undergone full training.

The expansion of the business has been supported by a grant from the Greater Birmingham and Solihull Local Enterprise Partnership’s Business Development Programme (BDP).

“We don’t want our growth to stop here and are already looking at how we can double the size of turnover again by this time next year,” said Adams.

“This has the potential to create another 70 jobs and take us to between 190 and 200 positions. “

Where possible, the business looks to recruit a certain percentage of unemployed people and over 30 have been taken on so far.

In addition to security and manned guarding, Integrity also provides a nationwide cleaning and facilities management service.
