Logistics group Hellmann joins forces with UK Pallets to deliver growth

LOGISTICS company, Hellmann Worldwide Logistics UK, is to join the UK Pallets network in a more which will see the firm grow its deliveries by around 24,000.

The partnership will see Hellmann, which has a large depot at Fradley Park in Staffordshire, take on domestic distribution to the KT, GU and TW postcodes.

Operating as a division within the UK Mail Group, UK Pallets is part of one of the largest express delivery companies in the UK.  The group delivers thousands of letters, parcels and pallets around the UK, EU and worldwide.

Matthew Marriott, Commercial Director of Hellmann Worldwide Logistics UK, said: “This is a really positive step for the company and we are delighted to be working so closely with UK Pallets.

“With our Colnbrook depot opening earlier in the year we’ve already seen double-digit growth in 2013, and we’re confident that this new agreement will help us to continue that development.”

Graeme Wilson, Managing Director of UK Pallets, added: “This is a great move for both Hellmann and UK Pallets. The near location of both UK Pallets and the Hellmann central hub in Lichfield will allow us to have a shorter transit and more local control.
