Castings firm Majorfax charts growth after expanding workforce

WALSALL-based castings group, Majorfax, is targeting growth after an expansion of its workforce.
Established in 1984, Majorfax supplies machined and finished castings for a wide range of industries.
Craig Loydon has joined the firm as Sales Engineer and has been tasked with retaining existing business and attracting new clients. He joins a growing company currently experiencing record growth.
At the top of his agenda is to strengthen the sale of metal castings to rail, agriculture and structural markets, maintaining a cross sector focus.
Loydon said: “I am pleased to be joining Majorfax and to be able to offer my skill set to an already experienced team. I look forward to working at Majorfax in helping to help generate new opportunities and build upon existing relationships.”
Steve Cooper, managing director, added: “Craig has worked for a number of years in customer service, quality and sales and we are delighted to welcome him to the Majorfax team where we are sure his input will be beneficial to both Majorfax and our customers.”
The firm has also recruited Alex Smith to develop customer services and coordinate the logistics operation.
