George Green bolsters business services with new online resource

BLACK Country law firm George Green has launched a new free online resource for local businesses.

The firm’s Growth Centre provides free legal templates including company constitutional documents and terms of business, supplemented by concise guidance notes.

Rather than a substitute for tailored advice, the firm said the centre was intended to provide basic legal tools to build confidence levels in SME businesses and to supplement its more specialist advice service.

Wolverhampton-based corporate partner, Philip Round said: “The George Green Growth Centre will enable owner-managers to develop their businesses to their full potential.

“Fledgling businesses are reluctant to formalise contracts, and to seek guidance on documents. They feel that professional advice is prohibitively expensive or legal terminology too complex. The Growth Centre embodies George Green’s passion for entrepreneurship. Unlike other resources which simply pose questions, we are providing tangible solutions.”

The firm said it remained confident that the Growth Centre would become a focal point for entrepreneurs and advisers seeking useful tools and information in relation to legal issues.

“We are looking to grow the number of business start-ups and ensure that businesses are more robust,” added Round.

“The Growth Centre is both relevant and accessible and includes checklists and fact sheets which provide handy overviews on areas such as e-commerce. This will benefit both start-ups and more established businesses and will make a real difference to the business community and wider economy.”
