Engineering group Rical uses NEC show to look for new business

A MIDLAND engineering group is aiming to boost business levels by taking part on a new trade show at the NEC.

The Rical Group said the Advanced Engineering Show was one of Europe’s most important exhibitions for firms operating in the advanced engineering sector.

The event, which takes place today, showcases technological innovation, processes and industry supply chain capability. This year the show is one of the biggest ever and has been moved to Hall 5 at the exhibition centre, one of the facilities largest spaces.

Andrew Essom, sales manager, Rical Group, said: “The Advanced Engineering UK 2013 event brings together multiple high growth, value-added advanced engineering and technology events, into a hugely exciting ‘integrated’ UK technology transfer and business development environment.

“Individual show streams integrated under the ‘Advanced Engineering UK 2013’ canopy include Aero Engineering Show 2013, Composites Engineering Show 2013, Automotive Engineering Show 2013, Auto Electronics 2013 & Printable Electronics for Industry.”

He said at a time when the manufacturing sector, especially within the UK was finally showing signs of an upturn, there was no better time for the group to participate in such an event.

He said Rical group of companies would be illustrating their abilities in a number of segments including: Fine Blanking (Wm Mitchell), Metal Pressings (Fellows and Multiforms), Die-castings (Avon PDC) and Sheet Metal fabrications (Taurus Engineering).
