Associate promotions at Irwin Mitchell
IRWIN Mitchell has announced the promotion of to Associate of five members of staff across its business and personal legal services divisions.
Personal injury solicitor, Emma Rush, international travel litigation legal executive, Clare Pearson, and Rebecca Franklin, from the firm’s family team have been recognised along with employment solicitor, Jas Dubb, and business development manager, Rebecca Parker.

Wall James Chappell strengthens Private Client team
STOURBRIDGE law firm, Wall James Chappell, has strengthened it Private Client team with a new appointment.
Rebecca Clark joins the firm as a probate clerk and will work alongside partners Christopher Hamlyn, Susannah Griffiths and James Rousell.
The move supports the continued growth of the firm`s Private Department.
Christopher Hamlyn, Head of Private Client, said: “This is an exciting time for the Private Client department and Rebecca`s appointment will enable the company to continue to exceed the expectations of its rapidly expanding client base.”
Ms Clark joins the firm from Chorus Law having graduated from Keele University in 2010 and then completing the Legal Practice Course at Birmingham College of Law in 2011.

Curry set to add new flavour to Mills & Reeve
MILLS & Reeve has appointed commercial health partner Gayle Curry to its Birmingham office.
Ms Curry, pictured, who joins from Morgan Cole, will lead the firm’s national commercial health team.
Ms Curry joined Morgan Cole in 1990 and has more than 20 years’ experience working in health and social care for NHS and independent sector clients. During her time as a partner at Morgan Cole, she headed up the firm’s Health and Social Care Strategy for England and led on numerous high profile matters for the Department of Health, central Government, health care providers, commissioners and commissioning support services.
In addition to working as a non-executive director in the NHS for three years, she also completed a number of secondments, including the Department of Health’s commercial and commissioning directorates.
