Hall Green Stadium acquired in £3m+ deal

BIRMINGHAM’s Hall Green Stadium has been acquired by locally-based Euro Property Investments for more than £3m.
The stadium, on York Road in Hall Green, has been home to live greyhound racing since 1927.
It comprises a 2,700 capacity greyhound racing stadium, snooker club, restaurant, bar and 48-bed hotel on a 10.6 acre site.
Hall Green Stadium is let to GRA Limited (Greyhound Racing Association) at a rent of £197,000 per annum – for a 15 year term expiring in 2028, subject to mutual break options at the fifth year.
Freehold interests in the stadium were sold by Birmingham-based property consultancy CBRE on behalf of GRA Acquisitions. It also sold GRA’s freehold interests in Manchester greyhound stadium Belle Vue.
Harris Lamb advised Euro Property Investments, which is part of Birmingham-based Europackaging.
