Ocado to create 800 new jobs at Dordon

GROCERIES distributor Ocado is to recruit 800 new staff at its distribution centre in Warwickshire.

The firm – which takes orders online on behalf of supermarkets Waitrose and Morrisons – said it is looking for warehouse workers to pack orders for customers at its base in Dordon.

It said it was also creating about 200 jobs at two of its London depots in Ruislip and Wimbledon.

A spokeswoman for the firm said it is expanding after signing a £170m deal to allow Morrisons to use its delivery infrastructure last year.
