Legal Appointments: Browne Jacobson; Douglas Scott; DAC Beachcroft

New partners appointments at Browne Jacobson

BROWNE Jacobson has announced three partner promotions in its Birmingham office. The move brings the number of partner promotions at the firm this year to nine, a new record.

The remaining six new partners are based in the firm’s Nottingham office and the appointments bring the firm’s total partnership to 99.

The new Birmingham partners are: James Arrowsmith (Technical Claims & Social Care), Mark Barnett (Health) and Helen Badger (Employment).

The promotions build on the 13 associate promotions announced by the firm earlier this year. All the latest appointments will be effective from May 1, 2014.

Derek Bambury, Senior Partner at Browne Jacobson, said: “These partner promotions are richly deserved. They have all shown a real commitment to the firm, substantial achievement in their sectors and, equally important, the real potential to help the firm grow.

“This is a record number of partner and associate promotions which strengthens the depth of talent at the firm and complements the other high quality appointments we have made over the course of the last 12 months.”
