Cavalier approach as RBS in Birmingham helps fund deal

BATHROOM manufacturer Cavalier Marketing has been acquired by Malta-based HLD Group in a deal supported by RBS in Birmingham.

HDL has a range of manufacturing and industrial distribution businesses across the UK and Europe while Cavalier Marketing, based in Keighley, is one of the largest manufacturers and suppliers of bathroom furniture in the UK.

No monetary value has been put on the deal.

John and Rob Harrison, the vendors, will remain with the business for the long term and continue to develop the bathroom business with the HLD Group.

Addleshaw Goddard advised HLD Group on its while fellow law firm Irwin Mitchell advised John and Robert Harrison at Cavalier. RBS Invoice Finance in Birmingham provided funding support and medium-term working capital facilities for the transaction.
