RECRUITMENT firm Direct Workforce has branched out into larger offices in Cannock.

Now situated in the Vanquish Suite within the Virage Point building on Walsall Road, the firm – which specialise in the recruitment of workers within driving, industrial, engineering and commercial sectors – suggests its new base makes it more accessible to both local job seekers and business clients.

Direct Workforce, which was previously in shared offices, has an objective of increasing group sales by more than £3m in 2015.

Janine Hipkiss, senior operations manager, said: “The expansion shows how much progress the local team have made and the new location is perfect for managing our client base across the Midlands.”

Virage Point, owned by Fred Pritchard, Staffordshire property developer and past president of Chase Chamber of Commerce, was named after Pritchard’s favourite car make Aston Martin and the suite in which Direct Workforce now resides was named after his Aston Martin Vanquish.

Direct Workforce, owned by Bibby Line Group, was established in 2001.
