Black Country Chamber’s international trade team crowned best in UK

THE Black Country Chamber of Commerce has been crowned the best in the UK for helping to promote International Trade.

The chamber scooped the Excellence in International Trade Award, sponsored by DHL, at the British Chamber of Commerce Annual Awards.

The Black Country team, which was one of five chambers shortlisted, was praised for the range of services it offered to members including UKTI Export Expert, Export Documentation and Export Workshops.

The chamber’s Leadership Programme, which has been developed in partnership with the Growth Hub, was also highlighted as an excellent initiative, as was the move to include mid-sized business support.

The Black Country Chamber International Trade team have helped companies secure over £40m in international sales so far this financial year so this is a great reward for their hard work and dedication. The chamber works continuously to help Black Country businesses to export and grow.
