KWB celebrates landmark Worcestershire deal
PROPERTY consultancy KWB has completed what it describes as “the largest transaction for offices in Worcestershire for over a decade”.
The Birmingham firm has let the whole of 3 Kings Court in Worcester, comprising 31,821 sq ft, to a government body.
It was acting on behalf of M&G Real Estate.
KWB was the original commercial property agent appointed to market Kings Court Business Park when it was first developed by Taylor Clark in 2002. It was retained by M&G Real Estate when it acquired the development.
KWB partner Mark Robinson said: “As the largest letting for Worcestershire in over a decade, this transaction is fantastic news for Worcester.
“It comes hot on the heels of department store partnership – John Lewis’s announcement of its £7m investment in a new Home store to be located also on Newtown Road as the start of a £150m new retail park which will provide additional amenities for staff based at Kings Court.”
Existing occupiers within Kings Court Business Park include WS Atkins and the Hereford & Worcestershire Fire Services Authority.
