Logistics firm expands UK network with four new recruits

A WOLVERHAMPTON logistics company has strengthened its UK network by signing up four new operators.

Pallet-Track has recruited established haulage companies Elite Eco Logistics, LT Baldwins, Revolution Transport Services and Mobile Freight Services, based respectively in Uxbridge, East London, St Helens and Birmingham. Each will take on an operations area released by an existing member that has grown its own business to capacity.

The new members will transport pallets from their areas to Pallet-Track’s hubs in Wolverhampton, Welwyn Garden City and Bellshill in Scotland.

Nigel Parkes, founder and managing director at Pallet-Track, said: “We’re thrilled to have now signed up 80 members and look forward to strengthening our offering across the course of 2015.

“Although we already cover the entire UK, bringing more members on board means that we are able to provide relief to larger areas, allowing existing members to be more productive within smaller territories.”

Lee Baldwin, managing director at LT Baldwin, said: “Pallet-Track has a great reputation and we’re looking forward to joining with the organisation, which will allow us to transport products a lot more effectively; taking and collecting from a central hub rather than making journeys all over the country.”
