Prova triumphs with motorcycle manufacturer
WARWICK agency Prova has been appointed as UK social media agency for motorcycle manufacturer, Triumph.
The deal sees the communications consultancy add digital media management to its current PR and media relations retainer.
The announcement, which follows a successful five-year contract between the two companies, will see Prova engage with riders nationwide to promote Triumph’s market leading range of bikes.
Rick Cawley, general manager of Triumph UK and Ireland, said: “We are delighted to confirm that Prova will be adding social media activity to its current communications provision. The team has a proven track record in delivering first-rate campaigns, and we’re looking forward to working in close partnership for this integral part of our communications strategy.”
St John White, head of automotive at Prova, added: “As a team, Prova has worked on multiple award-winning campaigns with Triumph and will build on that success in this new stage of our relationship.”
This latest success follows a period of extended growth for Prova, including contract wins for a range of clients including pipe inspection and measurement specialists OMS, environmental compliance solutions provider Lorax and motor finance specialists BMW Group Financial Services.
Smarts Illuminate lights up Hitachi Capital UK
PR and digital services agency, Smarts Illuminate has secured a contract to provide integrated PR services to a branch of Hitachi Capital UK that specialises in invoice finance.
The agency said its expertise in B2B and financial services had helped to swing the competitive pitch in its favour.
The contract includes a national and trade media relations programme combined with content marketing support and will focus on educating SMEs and corporates about the benefits of using invoice finance to boost their cash position and release money to invest in growth.
Rebecca Scully (pictured), managing director at Smarts Illuminate, said: “This is an exciting contract win for us, which underlines our excellent credentials in professional and financial services. We are particularly proud to be working with such a well-respected brand in the marketplace.”
Simon Dodd, marketing manager at Hitachi Capital Invoice Finance, added: “We are delighted to be working with Smarts Illuminate to develop and implement a PR-led campaign that aims to raise awareness of our expertise in helping SMEs to grow. We also aim to change perceptions of invoice finance as it is often underestimated as an option to boost cash flow. The growth of a significant number of the UK’s SMEs has been stifled by lack of available finance and businesses need to be more creative and explore innovative finance solutions such as invoice finance.”
