Strong regeneration prompts growth for Worcestershire law firm

WORCESTERSHIRE law firm Thomas Horton Solicitors has reported a 16% growth in new business during the past 12 months, aided by the regeneration of its core area.

It said that in Bromsgrove alone, the ongoing regeneration of the town had attracted more jobs and an increase in housing developments due to the number of business parks springing up. This had resulted in increased demand for the firm’s services, including corporate and business law.

The increased demand for its services led to the firm opening a new office in Redditch at the end of last year. With offices also in Bromsgrove, Worcester and Barnt Green, Thomas Horton’s clients include companies of all sizes from start-ups to some of the most successful businesses in the area such as EResponse Recruitment, based in Redditch, Interesting Hotels in Worcestershire, and international companies like Global Pacific Food Group.

However, Jeff Taylor, Head of Corporate Services and Partner, Thomas Horton, said the firm’s success was not solely due to Worcestershire’s resilience, but also to its level of expertise.

He said the firm served businesses of all sizes from start-ups deciding on the best legal structure through to established owner-managed companies and UK subsidiaries of national and international companies.

The firm’s strategy has been to position itself at convenient locations throughout the county so it is always within touching distance of the business community.
