Brace of appointments for Gough Bailey Wright

BROMSGROVE marketing communications company, Gough Bailey Wright, has made two key appointments as it continues to grow at its new offices in the town.

The agency has recruited Web Developer Mat Teague to its expanding digital department, while Nienke Boekraad, originally from Deventer in the Netherlands, has joined to provide administrative support for GBW’s specialist property communications team and the wider PR department.

Teague will help develop websites for GBW’s growing client portfolio, while also supporting the creative team with his animation and video editing skills.

Sue Bailey, managing director at GBW, said: “More and more businesses are coming to us for marketing services that benefit from our full range of communications expertise, so our new office and focus on integration is ensuring that we exceed client expectations on a daily basis.

“To be growing so soon after moving is testament to the passion, professionalism and creativity of the agency. It’s fantastic to be creating jobs and I’m delighted to welcome Nienke and Mat to the team, as well as making a number of internal promotions.”

Sporting chance for Henry Pepper

Henry Pepper PR will now lead media relations and PR activity across the region for CG5 – an organisation founded to promote sport and provide grants to local disabled athletes, young people and sports clubs.

Formed in 2014 by four trustees, who include former Worcester Warriors lock Craig Gillies, CG5 has just awarded its first set of grants to local athletes.

Loraine Henry, founder and managing director of Henry Pepper PR, said: “We are delighted to play our part in promoting the next chapter of CG5’s story and to offer our expertise and support.

“I was lucky enough to attend CG5’s official launch event this summer and was so struck with the passion and drive they have about getting people from all backgrounds interested in sport. They themselves are a real inspiration and we are really thrilled to be part of the team. They are set to do so much for young sports people in Worcestershire.”
