EY launches Entrepreneur of the Year 2016 in the Midlands

ENTREPRENEUR of the Year 2016 is launched today in the Midlands.

Accountancy and advisory firm EY’s awards – now in their 17th year in the UK – recognise Midlands entrepreneurs through its regional programme. They celebrate business leaders who are helping to reshape the regional economy.

EY is calling for nominations from business leaders in the Midlands, who have demonstrated entrepreneurial flair whilst growing or turning around the fortunes of their organisation in the UK or overseas – whether private or listed, socially orientated, family-owned or private equity backed, across all commercial and industrial sectors.
 
Entries are open until March 11, with finalists announced in April.

The programme starts at a local level, with other regional programmes taking place in Scotland, the North of England and London & South. Regional winners then progress to the UK finals in October, and the overall UK winner goes on to compete for the title of World Entrepreneur of the Year in Monte Carlo next year.

Last year’s Entrepreneur of the Year winner in the Midlands was Simon Ward of Inspired Thinking Group.
