High flying Synectics celebrates new contract with leading airline

WARWICKSHIRE security and surveillance group Synectics has secured a major new contract with one of the world’s leading airlines.
The Studley-based group has not said which airline the deal is with, just that it is one of the top 10 globally.
The deal will see the airline adopt the Synectics’ Synergy 3 command and control platform to protect its maintenance infrastructure.
The deal is the second major contract to be awarded to the company this month following a multi-million pound agreement to provide an integrated surveillance solution for a new casino resort in Macau.
Synectics said the airline was continuing to grow its global presence and was adopting an integrated approach to security and safety management across key operational facilities at a central Asia Pacific hub.
Synectics said its system met a very demanding brief and would ensure the airline achieved maximum levels of situational awareness across its critical infrastructure.
Synergy 3 will enable the airline, which flies passengers and freight to over 30 countries, to integrate, monitor and manage data from many security and safety sub-systems via a dedicated security centre.
Paul Webb, chief executive of Synectics, said: “In 2015 our enterprise platform Synergy 3 was selected as the airport safety and security solution for Terminal 3 Ultimate at Jakarta’s Soekarno-Hatta International Airport. To secure another major aviation contract within the ASEAN region is an excellent achievement and demonstrates our credibility and the trust that the aviation industry and major airlines have in our scalable, resilient, integrated security management solutions.”
