Lifestyle: The iPhone of Luggage lands in Birmingham

THE world’s smartest suitcase which savvy travellers can track on their phone has flown into a Birmingham department store.

The innovative Bluesmart Carry-On case is the world’s first luggage that pairs with its owner’s smartphone, meaning it can never get lost.

The business traveller can then keep tabs on the luggage via a special app no matter where they go through its built-in GPS.

The smartcase, dubbed the iPhone of Luggage, also adds peace of mind by weighing itself, tracking itself and locking automatically when it detects that its user has walked away.

The new case, which retails at £350, is being stocked exclusively by Selfridges.

Adam Hockney, general manager of Selfridges said “This clever piece of luggage is a must-have for any globetrotter and we are proud to be the first store in Birmingham to stock it.”
