Family firm enjoys international success

A FIFTH-GENERATION family business is enjoying a surge in overseas orders as it strengthens its export business.

Morris Site Machinery, a £14m-turnover division of Shrewsbury-based Morris & Company, has secured international orders worth more than £3.5m.

Morris Site Machinery, which has four depots in the UK, supplies the hire, rail, petrochem and construction sectors.

Product development and a targeted approach has resulted in a deal to supply Australia’s largest equipment hire company, new customers in Dubai to support projects in the lead up to Expo 2020, and new orders from Russia.
