Manufacturer reaps rewards on investment with global contract wins

A BIRMINGHAM manufacturer has seen a handsome reward on investment with a dozen new international contract wins.

Crofts & Assinder, which makes handles and architectural fittings, has secured new business with customers in Japan, Australia, America, Canada, Bulgaria, Italy, The Nordics and France.

Worth more than £1m to the family-owned firm, the new contracts represent 37% of the its total business.

Rich with history and heritage, Digbeth-based Crofts & Assinder’s bespoke product ranges have evolved over the last 141 years, during which the firm has tapped into overseas markets many times.

Due to substantial economic growth and international demand, the company has launched 200 new products for 2016 in its established markets of kitchen, bedroom and bathroom furniture. It has also launched a brand new window and door furniture range which has been showcased at exhibitions across the UK this year.
