Heating firm warms up expansion plans

A Birmingham heating firm is targeting expansion after joining forces with Black Country home maintenance provider HomeServe.

Water Spark Property Services has rebranded to ‘HomeServe Birmingham’ after signing a franchise agreement with HomeServe Connect – Walsall-based HomeServe’s UK installations business.

The deal will see its team of gas engineers providing boiler and smart thermostat installations, as well as a range of other central heating services, to residents in Birmingham and the surrounding areas.

“Joining the HomeServe family is a huge milestone for our business”, said Jermaine McIntosh, managing director of Water Spark Property Services and the new managing director of HomeServe Birmingham.

“Over the last six years we’ve worked hard to establish our business across the West Midlands and our team has helped thousands of customers with everything from a central heating service to a brand new boiler installation. Partnering with HomeServe Connect gives us a wonderful platform to build on that and we’re really excited about the future.”

He said the firm would now look to build its customer base, followed by a growth in its team of engineers.
