Property Appointments: GBR Phoenix Beard, Savills, Mucklow

PROPERTY consultancy GBR Phoenix Beard has made a trio of appointments in its Birmingham office.

David Dyas joins the asset management team as a surveyor while Helen Gregg and Charles Devoy are new faces in the property accounting department.

GBR Phoenix Beard said the new recruits had been appointed to support the firm’s continued expansion and investment in core services following the merger in the summer of Phoenix Beard and GBR.

Managing director Simon Farrant said: “We are delighted to welcome David, Helen and Charles into the business and they will play a key role in the delivery of services to our retained clients who have been extremely acquisitive over recent months.

REAL estate advisor Savills has boosted its Birmingham team with the appointment of experienced consultant Tim Suffield.

Mr Suffield has spent 25 years in the industry and joins Savills from Fuller Peiser/BNP Paribas where he was national head of industrial.

He will be consultant director in Birmingham and work alongside director Neil Starkie on new and existing industrial projects throughout the Midlands and across the UK.

HALESOWEN-based property developer and investor A&J Mucklow has appointed Jock Lennox to its board.

Mr Lennox will be an independent, non-executive director and chairman of the group’s audit committee from next Wednesday.

The 54-year-old retired as a partner of Ernst and Young last year, having worked for the firm for 32 years. He holds no shares in A&J Mucklow.
