Emmet Keating

Emmet has over 20 years’ experience in professional services, advising on cross-border M&A and private equity investments as well as being a software CFO in industry.  He has advised on transactions of more than £1.5 billion in value during his career at Headpoint Advisors, global investment bank Alantra and corporate finance advisor Catalyst Corporate Finance.

He advises clients in privately-owned businesses on acquisitions, company sales, MBOs, fundraisings and refinancings with an emphasis on the technology sector (software and IT services). He has wide experience across other business areas such as manufacturing and healthcare services.

Emmet frequently advises on cross-border deals involving buyers from North America, Europe and other major global economies. He also works closely with UK private equity investors. Combined with his in-house experience within a privately-owned, founder-led business, he has a valuable understanding of different stakeholder perspectives throughout any transaction process.

Early in his career, Emmet secured the ICAEW’s corporate finance qualification after qualifying as a chartered accountant with Deloitte’s TMT sector team in London. He obtained a Master’s degree in Physics from the University of Manchester.
