Redrow is to begin work on a 248-home development that is part of a planned 1,200-acre transformation of land in Rugby.<\/p>\n

The site at Houlton is part of a wider 15-year masterplan for 6,200 homes were Rugby Radio Station and its forest of masts once stood. The joint venture is between master developers Urban&Civic and Aviva Investors.<\/p>\n

Richard Coppell, development director for Urban&Civic said: “We are delighted to be opening a new part of Houlton for housing and welcoming a fourth house-builder at the same time as opening the new links road to Rugby town centre and the railway station.”<\/p>\n

Houlton is already home to over 120 families, living in the first phase of development off the Crick Road in Rugby.<\/p>\n

Redrow Homes Midlands has acquired a 22-acre site where the housebuilder will be building two, three, four and five-bedroom homes.<\/p>\n
