{"id":2027046,"date":"2019-03-05T08:15:11","date_gmt":"2019-03-05T08:15:11","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.thebusinessdesk.com\/westmidlands\/?p=2027046"},"modified":"2019-03-05T08:17:20","modified_gmt":"2019-03-05T08:17:20","slug":"investment-supports-three-year-expansion-plan-at-black-country-manufacturer","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.thebusinessdesk.com\/westmidlands\/news\/2027046-investment-supports-three-year-expansion-plan-at-black-country-manufacturer","title":{"rendered":"Investment supports three-year expansion plan at Black Country manufacturer"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A Black Country manufacturer has increased sales by 60% over the last three years, as orders hit \u00a330m for the first time in its 70-year history.<\/p>\n<p>Clamason Industries is now setting its sights on a three-year expansion plan through disrupting the precision metal pressings and stamping marketplace.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-2027048\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thebusinessdesk.com\/_files\/images\/mar_19\/Clamason-Action-300x200.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" \/>Supporting these ambitious expansion plans is a \u00a31.1m investment drive into new presses, technical cleaning capability and marketing.<\/p>\n<p>The business employs 290 people across its sites in the UK and Slovakia.<\/p>\n<p>Neil Geoghegan, managing director of Clamason Industries, said: &#8220;Since 2015, we have added \u00a312.5m of revenue and this is just the start. Our facilities in Kingswinford and Slovakia give us a global footprint that will help us attract more customers, which will contribute to our expansion plans.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;There is still the spectre of Brexit hanging over us and, whilst we would like to see a deal, we are looking at a range of measures that might help us cope with the short-term upheaval of a \u2018no deal\u2019.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>It is foreasting growth to come from its global client base across automotive, medical, assisted living and industrial products, with the latter covering anything from
